For 4390 Taxi Firenze, headquartered in Via della Casella in Florence, has always placed the user at the center of its activities. “Customer culture” as well as “work culture” are the guiding principles, founded on professionalism, courtesy, and technology.
For 4390 Taxi Firenze, mobility also means respect for the environment. It was in fact the first taxi service in Tuscany to introduce an electric taxi; today, 80% of its fleet consists of electric and hybrid vehicles, and its new headquarters is entirely powered by solar energy. This nearly €2 million investment clearly demonstrates the company’s commitment to looking toward the future with confidence.
As a result, today 4390 Taxi Firenze is the only radiotaxi service in Europe (and perhaps in the world) that is completely powered by clean energy, thanks to solar energy storage systems and fast-charging stations for electric vehicles.
Thanks to its long-standing focus on modern technologies, 4390 is now equipped with the most advanced radiotaxi technology currently available on the market, offering customers universal booking systems through telephone, messaging services, and the Taxi Move app.
The company also provides exclusive services to its clients: passengers can recharge their smartphones free of charge while on board. It is also the only Italian radiotaxi service to have created a “Taxi Premaman” service dedicated to expectant mothers. In any case, all women can travel safely, as the driver at night accompanies them right to the entrance of their home and leaves only after they have entered the building.
In October 2018, 4390 launched “Bimbi in Taxi”, a unique service in Italy that allows children between 3/4 and 12 years old traveling in our taxis to use a certified booster seat that enables them to fasten the seat belt safely.
In September 2023, the Taxi Move consortium and its related app were created, with 4390 Taxi Firenze as a co-founder. Thanks to this project, customers can reach all Italian cities using the same app. In 2025, the Taxi Move app also became a co-founder of the Italian Taxi Network, making it interconnected with many other taxi apps so that users can find a taxi in more than 50 cities across Italy. Following the same vision, but on a European scale, Taxi Force was created in 2025, connecting the Italian Taxi Network — and therefore Taxi Move — with taxi driver apps in Spain and Portugal, with the prospect of partnerships with many other European countries.
All of this is designed to allow users to find a taxi wherever they may be in Europe.
4390 is also actively involved in social initiatives. Many of its taxi drivers regularly donate blood through the Tuscan Intercompany Blood Donors Group. Over the years, the company has collaborated with numerous social organizations and promotes sports and psycho-educational activities for young people with disabilities.
4390 has also signed an agreement with Adiconsum to protect customers’ rights and, through the initiative “4390 Listens to Everyone”, makes travel easier for deaf passengers, who can book a taxi through a dedicated app.
