Booking a Taxi in advance

Cooperativa Tassisti Fiorentini a r.l. – 4390 Taxi Firenze informs its valued customers that, pursuant to the Taxi Service Regulation of the Municipality of Florence, taxi drivers are not permitted to accept advance bookings for taxi services. The Cooperative, however, may accept such requests up to one hour before the start of the service.
Therefore, what is commonly referred to as a “booking” is in fact a “deferred activation call”, meaning a taxi request scheduled for a later time. As a result, a taxi request made by the customer more than one hour before the requested ride does not guarantee the arrival of a vehicle, but only guarantees that the request will be entered into the radio taxi system. The ride will be carried out only if a taxi is available at the requested time.

The search for an available taxi will be performed approximately 10 minutes before the time requested by the customer.
The customer acknowledges that the arrival of a taxi at a specific address and its punctuality at a given time when using the “deferred call” system cannot be guaranteed, since—like any other taxi request—it depends on the availability of free taxis at that moment and in that specific area.

The customer will also be required to pay the driver, at the end of the ride, for the driver’s arrival and/or waiting time.
It is therefore understood that the sole commitment of Cooperativa Tassisti Fiorentini is to search for a taxi available to perform the requested ride, without assuming any liability in the event that no vehicle is available to carry out the service.
